#WhitWritesHerNovel : The Home Stretch and What’s Next

So,

I will be participating in NaNoWriMo this year. This will be my…….sixth consecutive year doing it. This one is a little bittersweet though, because it will be my last one for a while; until I find the inspiration for a new venture.

I am preparing to start the final installment of my Playing with Fire series. I will also be completing another collection of poetry, which will take a little longer, because it will be full of a lot of different emotions.

Knowing that Playing with Fire is coming to an end makes me happy, but sad at the same time. She is my book baby, the first story I ever created and let the public see; so it’s definitely emotional and I want to make this the best one yet. I want the ending to be worth it and bring closure to a wild ride with some characters I have grown to love.

I have accomplished far more than I ever imagined I would. When I first started writing, my only wish was to publish once, have my book on my shelf in my home and be grateful for the goal achieved. I told myself that if I only sold one book, I’d be satisfied.

I’ve published five times, and going for the 6th and 7th. My new goal is to at least publish for each ISBN I own; which would total 10 books. So I have 3 left.

One may ask: what’s next? Right now I cannot answer that, but my goal is to figure out. I don’t want to rush the process so I’m going to take my time. I definitely know one thing: I’ll NEVER stop writing.

So, with that said, let’s get ready for a wild ride….we’re coming into the home stretch, and I want it to be worth the wait.
