Y’all, Sage needs a hug, kiss and a prayer, because he definitely has it bad for Jordin.

I’m sure everyone has found out by now that Sage the Gemini and Jordin Sparks have recently broken up.  From what I have read, it doesn’t look like they have disclosed why they broke up; however, word on the street is that he cheated on her and got an ex pregnant (is this a trend or something?).  Since then, he posted an open letter on his Instagram post confessing his sincerest apology and pleading with Jordin to give him a chance to talk.  IF this is the real reason why they broke up, maybe he is hoping that Jordin will be more like Gabrielle Union and stick by his side.  Eh, who knows?

I read the open letter he put on Instagram, which is now been deleted off his Instagram, but could still be found if you look hard enough, lol.  If you can’t find it, here is what it said:

“Can’t sit here and act industry like this s–t don’t hurt me. You the only girl I can call at 3 in the morning and you’ll answer no problem. You the only girl that can wake up out of a dead sleep and get me some water because I was coughing in my sleep the only girl that loves me the way you were supposed to. I miss you to much to watch you look so amazing at the Clyde Davis party and not be able to call you and express how much I appreciated the look because you won’t answer nor text back the feeling is horrible. You see this picture?…… That’s the picture of me lookin at n—-s lookin at you and givin them the eye like ‘wassup n—a’ and you like it’s ok babe and you makin me smile and feel just a little more secure about it. Lol it kinda reminds me of the picture of the little lady standing in front of the hulk and being the only one that can calm him down that’s you ya know? But yea this s–t is crazy i just wanna tell you I’m still being a good boy just incase you come to your senses. Valentine’s Day was supposed to be a special day I wanted that to be our anniversary because it’s your grandparents and maybe we could’ve double dated remember? Now, as always, I have seen a mixed number of responses to his letter.  Some find it sweet and romantic of him to pour his heart out to his girl, hoping that she will come back to him with that hug and kiss that he wants.  Others are saying that he is being way too thirsty and that he should just take the L, and quit while he is ahead.

What do I think?  Hmm…I think what he is doing is noble, and it shows that he cares; but it’s too little, too late.  From what I have been reading, it sounds like Sage cheated on Jordin (they say it’s a rumor so I could be wrong).  As a result, Jordin said she was not having it, and left him.  Now he is confessing his love on social media and begging her to give him another chance.  I understand that it is definitely a pretty big gesture, given the number of men who really want to put all their relationship business out there; HOWEVER, if you are this in love with this woman, why are you doing things that would make her break up with you in the first place?  If you truly love this woman the way you have professed in this open confession, then why weren’t you keeping yourself in check while you were with her?

Why is it too much to appreciate the woman you have at home, instead of playing around and thinking you can have your cake and eat it too?  Then once he realized he couldn’t, he is begging at her feet for her to give him even an ounce of attention.  Sage looks like he is pretty open to admitting his wrongs, and wanting to make them right.  My question is, is Jordin willing to forgive?  Because her response is really the only one that matters at this point.

Unfortunately for Sage, Jordin may not be as forgiving as some, who would be willing to give him another chance.  One can only hope that she is willing to work on things with him, and he will stay on the straight, narrow and monogomous path with her.

I’m all for love, so I’ll be praying that Jordin gives Sage a call.  If not, can’t say that he didn’t bring it upon himself, and I hope he learns a valuable love lesson from this.
