Lately I have been really trying to keep up with my level of self-care. I was having a conversation with a friend, who told me that I really need to try to do more of it (or do it at all because I don’t). I thought about it and she is right, I don’t really do a lot for myself, and I should definitely start.
I started by making a list of some things that I wouldn’t mind trying. I came up with a few things:
- Meditation
- Yoga
- Reading
- Working out
I think if I try to do a few of these things as much as possible in a week, it could lead to a healthier mind, body and spirit. I feel like I have carried a lot of stress and negativity in my space these days; for one reason or another, and it’s time to let go of it. I also feel that all the stress and negativity is why my body feels like a pretzel most days. I guess we shall see how this works out for the next couple of weeks.
