It’s something about stepping outside on a sunny day, and allowing the warmth of the sun to radiate through your pores.
It’s exhilarating. I spent 5 minutes in the sun today and it made me feel really good.
I have noticed that every day I feel so closed in. I spend my entire day in my office, and although I have 2 windows, it still does not give me the full effect of how beautiful the sunlight truly is. Having a sedentary job will make you lazy, it will make you forget that sometimes the best medicine, is to get outside and feel the sun on your face. I sit in front of a computer all day, look at a phone, etc. and I never give myself the opportunity to get up and take a step outside. I really need to treat myself more often.
I am charging myself to take 10 minutes a day, and stand in the sun. Don’t take my phones, or anything and just stand outside in the sun for a few minutes. It won’t kill me to be without my phone for 10 minutes out of a day, and although I love my blogging and looking at other blogs, sometimes I have to take a step back from this technology also. I may even get back to prepping my blogs on paper, instead of typing them up in a draft. I may even write while I sit outside in the sun.
