Blogmas 2020: My Christmas Wish List

Today’s Blogmas post will be about….*drum roll*

My Christmas Wish List!

This year has been…..interesting; to say the least. If you have read some of my posts, then you know that between COVID and other personal trials, this year has not been the easiest. I’ve gone through a lot personally and emotionally. Like most of the world, I believe the holiday season is something a lot of people have been looking forward to as a moment of joy in the midst of a dark cloud that has been 2020.

Christmas definitely feels different for me this year. Typically, I’m bursting with energy and joy right after Thanksgiving, but this year…with so much going on I just haven’t found the spark I needed. I truly didn’t know if my heart would be in it; seeing the lights, decorating, putting up a tree, hearing Christmas music. So far, I’m easing into the Christmas cheer, despite my initial apprehension.

I originally wanted to just stay in my apartment and not deal with it at all; just let Christmas come and go just like any other day, but I remembered that deep down it is my favorite holiday. I still have some love for it deep down in my heart, and eventually it’ll come back to me.

This year, I truly didn’t want very much for Christmas. If I was being completely honest, I could say that even with this list; if I didn’t get anything on my wish list, I’d be ok. I managed to come up with at least five things that I’ve been thinking about wanting for Christmas this year; if I could ask for anything in particular.

My Christmas List

  • Books
  • Workout clothes
  • Some new clothes
  • Trademark my blog name, publishing company and nickname (Whit C.)
  • A new camera (Canon Rebel T7)

What about you? Let me know what’s on your top 5 Christmas wish list this year!!

  1. 2020 has indeed been quite a year. But we are healthy, safe and we still have so much to be grateful for. I have had to start writing gratitude at the top of each day in my planner. It helps keep my spirits up.

Surprisingly I don’t have a long list. I’m moving so I’m just asking for amazon gift cards hahah

  2. This has been a long year, but I personally have a lot of gratefulness in my heart.
    My Christmas list isn’t much-
    a cross necklace
    Sherpa sport jacket
    A couple Christian albums
    Small stocking stuffer type stuff
I love baseball caps, a white Columbia or Patagonia hat

      1. Thank you, God bless and May His light shine ever so brightly in your hearts this Christmas!!
