Self-Care Sunday: Spa Day 

Nothing beats a stressful, hard fought week like a day at the spa, or a day at home creating your own at-home DIY spa day!

I’ll admit, I had my first spa day for my birthday last year; but it’s always been something I’ve wanted (more like needed) to put into a monthly schedule for myself; and even when I can’t actually go to a spa, I try to recreate what I want and need at home!  I specifically enjoy doing body scrubs and face masks to keep my skin clear, soft and moisturized!

I believe having a spa day not only eases your stress of everyday life and work, but also keeps your body healthy as well.  You’d be surprised at how many knots and kinks get into your body and you have to learn to now stretch them out with a massage, how much healthier and clear your skin looks after a facial, or the refreshing feeling of a pedicure.

While you may not have the means to accomplish all these things all the time, some of our favorite spa treatments are things you can try right in your own homes! Anything from facials to foot treatments can be done right at home on a Sunday afternoon!
