Just a quick tip for my loose naturals and my loc wearers:

Be mindful of your fingernails, ladies. Sometimes we get that occasional hang nail or broken nail that is sharp, and then proceed to run our fingers through our hair. We usually don’t remember that nail until it has snagged on our hair!

I always make sure I keep my nails trimmed and filed regularly to prevent this (mostly because it hurts lol). I ESPECIALLY make sure my nails are good on wash day! Before I wash, part of my routine is checking my nails and clipping and/or filing where necessary to prevent the snagging of loose hairs.

Just a quick tip for my natural and loc divas out there to remember! Keep those nails maintained! 🙂
