#WhitWritesHerNovel : My Personal Novel Writing Movement!

I made a few Resolutions this year, which is something I don’t NORMALLY do; mostly because I never follow through. This year, I told myself that it would be different. If I only do 1 thing on this list, I will see it all the way through. One of those things, was starting my first novel.

I started in October, actually. The idea just came to me all of a sudden. Once the ideas started flowing, I just started typing. I have always wanted to write a novel, but I never had an idea that was good enough to get me going. Now, I can’t stop thinking about my novel. I have been going steady with it so far, and let me tell you, it’s not an easy task. I try to write ideas down as much as possible. I have memo pad apps on my phone, and I keep a pen and paper on me whenever I need to. It is definitely a great experience, especially for someone who loves to write like I do. I told myself that if I only publish and print one copy, for myself, then I would feel like I have accomplished the ultimate goal in my life, and that is to be published and have a book on my shelf with my name on it.

I figure on my blog, I will document this journey as well. I will use the hashtag #WhitWritesHerNovel in the title of the blogs that I post pertaining to my highs and lows of going through the novel writing process. I hope that I get people to read it and follow along to support this venture with me. Hopefully, you see my posts and we can connect on the joys of writing!

If there is anyone out there looking to start a novel or start writing for any reason I say GO FOR IT!! Write until you can’t write anymore. You can’t find out how far you can go with it until you start.

Good luck to anyone writing out there! I hope we all accomplish our personal goals, as well as any other dreams we have! J
