For most of you who know me, I’m sure I know the answer to this question:
“Finish PWFII before we disown you.”
And while I will be completing that task (in due time lol), I’m only about 5700 words shy of 50,000…not saying I am capping at that number, but typically for Nano, your goal is 50,000 words. I will possibly get pretty close to that within my prep time; so in order to keep the writing chops well-oiled and working at their fullest potential, I need another project. I want to work on at least two projects at a time; because in my weird brain, one plot line may influence and spark inspiration in another. (Don’t try to understand my brain). Pair that with the immense amount of writing and blogging I am hoping to accomplish, I am going to be a zombie by the time 12/1 gets here.
With that being said, I will be on the hunt for plot motivation, story lines, and even prompts to see what else can I spring into a 50,000 word novel. Honestly, that’s how Playing with Fire was born; from a random thought in 2014…and here we are today, writing my third installment in the series.
I hope you all will come along in my nerdy journey through #NaNoPrep and #NaNoWriMo. It’s my favorite time of year (that and National Poetry Month lol), and with a new full tank of gas, I’m ready to see what these next two months will hold for me.
