I made a choice to embark on a journey of lifetime sisterhood with some of the most beautiful souls I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

In 10 years, babies have been born, relationships have evolved, we’ve been apart of weddings, we’ve been there for each other no matter the distance or the time apart. We have become true FINER women; far from the girls we were when we started this path, and continuing to evolve into better women with each passing day.

We’ve evolved so much as individuals, it has done nothing but continue to complement our growth as sisters. We’ve got a little bit of everything between us, and I feel like that is what keeps us together. We truly embody our name, and there is no way to deny that we are truly distinct and unique in every way. Our bond is unbreakable, and our loyalty is unmatched. There’s never a dull moment whenever we’re together.

If there is one thing I always want you all to know; y’all will always hold a piece of my heart. My most memorable and one of my most greatest moments in life was finding out that you all would be the group of ladies I’d hold near and dear. No matter where life throws us, no matter the distance or the time; when you call, I will always answer. If you need me I’ll always be there. “Sister” is a word that carries heavy weight to me, and know you all were an integral part of me becoming me.

Thank y’all, and I love each and every one of you.

Happy Anniversary Write, Live and Love

Today, 3 years ago, I started my journey towards blogging on this very site.

Since that time, I’ve been through many names, many ideas, many themes, concepts and styles.

One thing that’s remained the same is this: I love writing for my followers and I love sharing my small part of the world with you.

Thank you all for riding with me down this path called life. Thank you for looking into the world through my eyes every week.

I hope you continue to stay with me and see all the new and amazing content I’m bringing to you all.

Here’s to things becoming better and better in the years to come.

Happy Anniversary PWF!!!

One year ago today, I accomplished the one dream I’ve had since I was a kid; I published my first book.

Playing with Fire taught me a lot about myself, my talent and my ability to achieve what’s set out in front of me.

In October 2014, when I first started writing #PWF, I thought I would be just another 5 page draft of something that would never come into fruition. Fast forward to today, and I’m a published author, preparing for 2 more books to be published!

I owe my thanks and success to God, for giving me this ability to write stories that people enjoy. I can’t wait to see what happens more with my story; how it grows and develops and what it can become. I have big dreams for myself and this project, it doesn’t just stop with 1.

To all of those who encouraged me, helped me, read parts of my book, purchased my book; thank you! Your love and support will never go unappreciated.

Here’s to 1 year of #PWF and let’s see how far we can go!

Happy Anniversary to Me!

One year ago, I began my journey into blogging seriously.  So far, I have had good moments, bad moments, and moments that have truly taken my breath away.

Being that I am a very humble person, I never imagined that I would have the reception that I have had on my blog.  I figured I would get lost in the shadows of all the other amazing blogs on here.  To my surprise, there are at least 207 people out there that found me interesting enough to follow me at one point or another.  For whatever reason you followed, I appreciate the show of love and support to a fellow blogger.

I know in these types of posts, one would usually talk about what their plans are for their blogs going forward.  I haven’t thought it through very much, but I do know that I want to continue to write about my experiences in life, relationships, parenting, etc., continue to document my loc journey for those out there just beginning or looking for different conversations about different things.  I also want to continue to push the envelope on the controversial issues I used to be hesitant to write about, for fear of the backlash for my opinion.  I realize though, this is the reason why I want to blog.  I want to be able to write thought-provoking posts; posts that push people’s buttons and get people to have meaningful conversations and healthy debates.  Someone has to start a little riot, why not me? Lol.

So, here’s to one year in the game; and hopefully a pretty long time to go! #Cheers
