“How we love ourselves is how we show people how to love us…..”

I can’t remember who said this and where I saw it, but it’s something that’s been on my mind all week.

It’s amazing how much we neglect to love ourselves, and then expect people to love us unconditionally. If we have not shown a person how to properly love us, how can we expect them to know how to love us?

I have been having a few rough weeks, but I want to put this in everyone’s mind to remember this one statement:

Learn how to love yourself, so people can love us just as equally and beautifully.
